Tourism Excellence Award
The National Chamber of Tourism starting from 2005 established the "National Award for Excellence The Güegüense Tourist" with the aim of improving the quality of service among its members and associates and recognize those who stand each year for their support development and growth of tourism in the country.
During the institution of these awards, Hotel Punta Teonoste Nature Lodges & Beach Spa, has been awarded as the prize winner for excellence Gueguense tourist in the category Sustainability (2007, 2009).
This category involving both the private nature reserves, eco-lodges and mountain hotels as any company who implement volunteer activities to make your tourism operation is sustainable in economic, business, socio-cultural and environmental. Also those developing actions related to the pursuit of quality and customer satisfaction, but taking into account the vulnerability of resources, biodiversity and preventing problems to maximize the benefits to sustainable development.
